The Baku 2015 Flame had a busy first day in the capital, kicking off five days of events ahead of the European Games Opening Ceremony on 12 June. Received by President Ilham Aliyev at the Satko Pier, the torch was then taken on a 16km relay along the Bulvar and finishing up at the Maiden Tower, where it was greeted by a giant puppet horse.
